Melanoma March is back!!! 

 

Most of you know my story. It's been a long, hard battle of the last 5 years with stage IV melanoma. Two drug trials and four major surgeries. It's something that I would never want to happen to any one of you.

 

However, if it does, we have the best medical minds right here in Australia doing incredible work. Here's the catch though, they need constant funding to keep researching and to reach their goal of zero deaths from melanoma. That would be incredible!!!!

 

This is Australia's cancer. It affects everyone. Young and old. And there is still no cure.

 

Covid has hit Melanoma Institute hard. Funding is down, people coming in for skin checks are down too. It's time to get back out there, and if you can't, no problem, you can either simply donate or do a virtual walk wherver you want!

 

My hope for getting involved is that my kids will see that by taking action, we can make a difference. That by the time they are adults, there will be a cure for them, as it runs on both sides of our family.
